It's been a while since you guys have got me out in public, drinking and discussing make up sex....
So.. how about next Thursday the 28th... at Durty Nellies?
And maybe
:)
Can you tell anything about a fur by their species? Here are some offensive stereotypes:
Cats: low attention span
Dogs: needy
Dragons: socially challenged
Foxes: okay, everyone knows this one
Wolves: self-centred
Even though the dogs, cats, wolves, dragons and foxes I know don't fit into such labels, I'm still guilty of making prejudgements about furs depending on their species.
I do it with horses, too. There are some positive traits I think of as being horsely - calmness, strength, intelligence - that I aspire to. I tend to apply these labels to other horses I meet, which probably explains why equines are over-represented on my LJ friends page.
wruf challenged me on this earlier today. He's right - it's wrong and kinda stupid.
I know I'm not the only one who does this. I'd be interested in what other generalisations people have com across - fair or unfair, positive or negative. Do you judge other furs based on their species? Do you get judged based on your own?

bruit: To report; to noise abroad.
I'd been sitting in front of the computer sick all day, and it got to the point where I couldn't stand it any longer. I gathered whatever strength I could dig up, dragged myself to the kitchen and distracted myself in the most delicious way possible.
Not, of course, that I can taste my delicious work with this hell-sent blocked nose.

Vegan peach and coconut muffins.

Frequently when writing a script I will have the realization "oh wait, I have OTHER CHARACTERS THAN HANNELORE!"
This is a problem.
And I can't draw again. Boo :c
Messed about with my Zen though, FINALLY found the settings and personalised it. I've had it, what? A year? Never bothered before lol.
Need to find a seeder for Emilie Autumn's works.
Not a big update today.

We're starting to get political advertising in the mail.
Most notably we have somebody who promises to get 'tough on crime' and prominently features a picture of a needle in a playground with soccerkids in the background.
And somebody who talks about participating in an AIDs walk.
When I describe it like that, it's pretty easy for me.
And yeah, I'ld date the green candidate.. Except she's trying to be a politician and that's a deal breaker. Oh well. And she's probably got standards which means I'm a deal breaker.

1. Nearsighted; unable to see clearly objects at a distance.
2. Shortsighted; lacking foresight; narrow-minded.

"Now that the bizarre ruckus over eBay's proposed PayPal monopoly appears totalled, it seems a good time to ponder why eBay chose Australia to risk its reputation on such a massively unpopular scheme."
